“I’m Tracey Mc Cann, founder of Empowering Abilities and creator of Empowering Connections. I’d love to personally invite you and your members to join us for a very special gathering — the 1-year anniversary of Empowering Connections, taking place on Friday, 19 September 2025 starting at 6.30pm at Meakstown Community Centre, Lanesborough Park,  Dublin D11W409.

This event is about more than an evening together. It’s about belonging. It’s about creating a safe, inclusive space where people of all abilities can share joy, music, and meaningful conversations. With uplifting talks, live performances from talented artists including Lynsey Anne, and plenty of room for connection and friendship, there will be something for everyone.

For me, these events grew out of my own lived experience — knowing what it feels like to be left out, and deciding to create the space I wished had existed. And over the past year, what’s blossomed has been nothing short of beautiful: friendships, laughter, healing, and community. 

Together, we can celebrate how far we’ve come — and how much brighter we shine when we connect.”
